Prague, October 16, 2023 – Investment group BHM group expanded its portfolio of commercial centers and bought the logistics and production center Trenčín Industrial Park with a leasable capacity of more than 120,000 m². Park is currently fully lease and employs more than 1,800 people. In Slovakia, the BHM group already owns and operates a logistics park in Dunajská Streda with a capacity of 100,000 m². After this acquisition, BHM group became one of Slovakia’s largest industrial and logistics landlords, being the only local developer and investor in the top 5. Properties managed by the BHM group in this region are valued in the medium units of billions CZK.

"I am glad that we have successfully completed the acquisition of Trenčín Industrial Park - one of the largest industrial and logistics parks in the region. BHM group thereby continues its successful expansion in the field of investments in commercial and industrial real estate with the aim of building a strong and modern portfolio of European scale,"
says managing director of BHM group Jan Černý.

The Trenčín Industrial Park was built in 2011 and is the only site in Slovakia that is technically adapted not only for logistical needs, but also for production needs. The park is consisted of two comercial halls and an administrative part with total area of 120,000 m². Currently is the park fully leased, mainly to leading foreign companies, such as the Hella concern, the Irish global leader in the field of car seats Adient, or the German Leoni.

Trenčín Industrial Park also has an exceptional location near the Slovak city of Trenčín, which is an important center of Slovak trade and economy, and branches of many Slovak and foreign companies have their headquarters there. At the same time, it is also a university town that offers qualified workers for companies. Thanks to this convenient location, Trenčín Industrial Park employees can use public transport or bicycles to travel to work.

In its development, BHM group focuses on companies that pay attention to sustainability and environmental friendliness. Trenčín Indurtrial Park holds the LEED Gold certificate, which is an internationally recognized standard in the field of design and construction of environmentally friendly and sustainable buildings.

BHM group entered the Slovak commercial real estate market as a joint venture with GO ASSET Development, and together successfully built a logistics center in Dunajská Streda. At the end of 2022, BHM group bought out the shares of its partner and became the sole owner of the project and currently owns 220,000 m² of logistics and production space in Slovakia. In addition to Slovakia, the group owns and operates other logistics centers in Slovenia, Serbia, and Croatia. The goal of BHM group is to build a portfolio of logistics parks in the Central European region, in which companies will be able to, with respect to the environment, grow in the long term.
