BHM Group is expanding its division of medical technologies through acquisition of Lab Concept

Company Köttermann from BHM Group has acquired a significant stake in the German manufacturer of laboratory equipment Lab Concept GmbH. Thanks to the acquisition, Köttermann will strengthen its position in Germany and widen its product portfolio in complex supplies of laboratory equipment.

Lab Concept GmbH is next in a series of acquisitions through which BHM Group is building a strong MedTech division. Key brands in BHM‘s MedTech division include also ALVO Medical (Polish manufacturer of modular building systems for hospitals, operating tables, operating room integration systems and hospital furniture), BLOCK (Czech supplier of comprehensive solutions for clean rooms), medifa (renowned German producer of equipment for operating rooms) and FAMED (Polish producer of operating tables and hospital beds). MedTech group companies generate consolidated annual sales of EUR 160 million.

Lab Concept GmbH was founded in 2013 by Konrad Kreuzer in Kempten (Allgäu), Germany. The company specializes in media flow within laboratories, such as ceiling systems for extracting vapors through fume hoods. The company's sales are in the lower tens of millions of euros.
