Prague / Münsingen, 24. 8. 2026 – BHM group continues to expand its medtech platform, Reinsberg Group, with the acquisition of Swiss company Schaerer Medical Schweiz AG, a long-established manufacturer of premium mobile operating tables and specialized orthopedic accessory solutions. Schaerer Medical will strengthen Reinsberg Group’s footprint in Switzerland as well as our offering for operating rooms.
Schaerer Medical is one of Switzerland’s long-established medical technology manufacturers. Its history dates back to 1892, and the company has been developing and manufacturing operating tables since 1912. It is headquartered in Münsingen close to Bern, where its development and manufacturing operations are based. Through a network of sales and service partners, the company is present in more than 75 countries.

The company focuses primarily on specialized solutions for orthopedic and spinal surgery, drawing on its long-standing expertise in the development of mobile operating tables and precision patient positioning systems. Its products are designed for demanding surgical procedures and offer high load capacities, a wide range of positioning options, as well as specialized extensions and accessories. The design of selected tables also facilitates easier access to the patient and supports the effective use of imaging technologies during surgery.
